Forget the rest of the crud out there for sale (and there aren't many anyway). This is a properly sorted & nice genuine GS850 & pretty scarce. Offered in excellent condition throughout (The UBER rare original twin exhaust system is about as near to perfect as any I have seen!) this lovely "SHAFTIE" low maintenance Suzuki is ready to ride & enjoy & having ridden it today to take photos & video it is a dream. The engine is whisper quiet & sounds brand new - just gorgeous (well you would struggle to abuse one of these in a hurry, especially with such low mileage. Unbelievable opportunity to own a 50 year old lovely classic Japanese piece of history with only 2,411 miles from new & such a pretty bike & I rode it today to take photos & video ... absolute dream, rides beautifully! Unrestored & virtually all original (has had the paintwork refreshed at some stage) even the original factory fitted YOKOHAMA tyres I believe, the bike has just had carbs cleaned & balanced & oil change & starts on the ELECTRIC button (so no having to kick start) running as sweet as a nut. Originally an American bike (hence no rot!) it was imported some years ago & never ridden, then the son of the 1 UK owner decided it was time to sell as his Father was never going to use it. So they registered for the 1st time in UK in August, got the carbs done, changed the oil & battery & as an historic vehicle she is ready to enjoy ... not sure about 50 year old tyres though - even though they look like new! The condition is truly remarkable as you can see from the photos but please bare in mind it is original & not a restored "everything pattern parts & brand new". Having said that the original TAKASAGO rims & spokes are amazingly good as is the original seat, hand grips & rest of the chromework & frame. The only thing before the rivet counters point it out is the throttle cables stick out due to now having UK style handlebars & are too long but an easy change if required. TRY FINDING ANOTHER ONE OF THESE LIKE THIS ONE! I only have the V5 & no other paperwork BUT as you can blatantly see it is a lovely little bike & very genuine (video walk around & start up soon) the likes of which are very rare to find of this model NOT TO MENTION INSANELY LOW MILEAGE- especially being unrestored. A VERY TASTEFUL SHAFTY R nine T WITH A STYLISH SINGLE SEAT CONVERSION (HAVE ORIGINAL PARTS TOO) & ONLY 1 OWNER & LOW MILEAGE. MOT'd & SERVICED WITH NEW FORK SEALS & FRONT BRAKE PADS & BATTERY IN JULY & A CRACKING RELATED NUMBER PLATE TO BOOT - A REALLY GOOD LOOKING & INDIVIDUAL R9T! I have just spent 2 & a half days detailing this BEAST after riding home, . Really subtle mods & has mint AKRAPOVIC shot gun style exhaust (whole exhaust removed & properly cleaned), bar end mirrors, various Roland Sands bits, rad guard, carbon fibre hugger, black bar conversion with padding, MOTOGRAFIX tank pad decals (makes it stand out from the normal black/silver & can be removed if not your taste as paint is perfect underneath), 2 keys, most of service history by BMW, all in original folder with accompanying brochures etc. etc. Literally ready to ride & enjoy - engine sounds as sweet as & starts/rides/stops perfectly. So ... a really lovely, unique, low mileage 1200 Bimmer, with 1 owner from new, just serviced, great condition, great number plate & not big money - what are you waiting for?

ESSENTIALLY A 1 OWNER UK BIKE FROM NEW ALL BAR 63 MILES - 2nd OWNER WAS HIS SON-IN-LAW WHO BOUGHT IT IN 2022 RODE IT TWICE FOR MOT's & OTHERWISE JUST LIVED IN HIS MAN CAVE UNTIL I RODE IT HOME (ONLY 18 MILES AWAY) So this is a very genuine unmolested example that I have just spent over the last couple of weeks around 25-30 hours detailing, including removing fairings (see photos) and cleaning them as well as engine area, exhaust etc. & I can honestly say not a crack, split, broken tab anywhere on the bike it is superb. All original fixings/fasteners removed cleaned up & replaced with NO NEW parts The only minor blemish is on the RH side of the tank where there is one chip on yellow Honda wing & a scratch on the top of red paint (hi-lighted in my video). Now you have three options in my opinion. 1. Live with them as very minor cosmetic "honesty marks" 2. Pay to have a professional spray painter to repair 3. Source a new OEM tank (they are out there but will set you back around £1,000 but you could sell this one to offset the outlay) Otherwise, I genuinely think you will struggle to find a better, low mileage, super low owners, very original (apart from upgraded NITRON shock - I don't have original, and PYRAMID rear hugger, very useful preserver!) UK example with a provenance 2nd to none for this price point (see my feedback I don't exaggerate). I have 2 keys, original dealer wallet with owners manual, fully stamped service book (still in original plastic pouch), a stack of invoices over the years including original finance/purchase agreement, original HONDA toolkit, pillion seat, every old MOT & current & old V5's. It is all original paintwork, rare uncut rear mudguard & still on original dealer number plate - these are all benefits of it being basically a 1 owner bike & stayed local too.
