DECIDED TO PART WITH HER & HANG HIS MOTORCYCLE BOOTS UPTHIS WAS THE LAST INCARNATION OF THE 80's ICONIC MID RANGE KWAKER THAT SMOKED THE COMPETITION BACK IN THE DAYJUST READ THIS: https://www.sportrider.com/retrospective-1981-kawasaki-gpz550IN THE EVEN RARER LIVERY (I personally love & prefer) WITH JUST 38,300 MILES IN 29 YEARS - that equates to 1300 per yearwhich probably actually did the engine good instead of being stored.HAVING RIDDEN HER OVER 100 MILES SHE RUNS, RIDES, STOPS & HANDLES LIKE A DREAMI CANNOT REITERATE ENOUGH HAVING 1 MATURE OWNER HAS DEFINITELY HELPED HER AGE WELLI HAVE 2 KEYS, MOT UNTIL MAY 2019, OWNERS HANDBOOK, TOOL KIT & AN HPI REPORT TO PROVE 1 OWNERwith no finance, insurance claims or an importSHE IS ALMOST TOTALLY ORIGINAL APART FROM A PERIOD MOTAD EXHAUST WHICH AS YOU CAN SEE IS IN PERFECT FETTLEAND HE DECIDED THERE WAS TOO MUCH RED/ORANGE GRAPHICS GOING ON SO HE REMOVED THEM OFF THE FAIRING AND REARTAIL PIECE BUT THERE ARE COMPANIES THAT WOULD RE-DO THESE IF YOU WANT TO PUT BACK TO ORIGINALTHE ONLY REAL FAULT IS A DENT ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE TANK WHICH HE HAS NEVER HAD REPAIRED & A DIMPLEwhich has not marked paint and I think an easy suction out job on fight hand side - I didn't even notice it when I viewed the bikeBUT THIS ALL ADDS TO THE "ONLY ORIGINAL ONCE" VALUESHE'S NOT PERFECT BUT THEN SHE'S ALSO NOT A LOT OF MONEYNO SMOKE, UNTOWARD RATTLES, STARTS ON THE BUTTON AND CARBS WERE APPARENTLY OVERHAULED IN 2014TYRES ARE GOOD & AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PHOTOS SHE IS OVERALL A VERY GOOD CLEAN EXAMPLE OF ANAPPRECIATING AND ALREADY VERY RARE CLASSIC - ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING WORKS ON HER - ALL ELECTRICSARE FAULTLESS & SORRY TO KEEP BANGING ON BUT SURE THIS IS DOWN TO THE SAME OWNER IN HER 29 YEAR LIFEA LOVELY 80's BIT OF BIKE HISTORY FOR SOMEONE
