This has to be the lowest miles, best clean example 100% standard & original 26 year old Pan European out there! I have just had the carbs cleaned & rebuilt, new spark plugs then put 12 month MOT on (no advisories) £313 & she rides like a new bike (well it's barely run in with 4,800 miles). In fact here is as near as dammit a new bike for old money.
I have quickly taken a few photos today and not finished detailing yet so if not sold -then next dry sunny day I will take some better photos.
So it is a 1 owner bike that he bought new in 1995 & rode until 2002 then put away in obviously proper storage until 2019. At 70 years old he sold it to another gentleman in 2019 who never rode it or even put the V5 in his name due to serious health problems. He did however get a few bits done last October before selling including fuel pump replaced, new Motobat battery, all fluids drained, flushed and replaced with appropriate filters.
I have ridden it today 17 miles & it is a beauty. The engine literally sounds like new as it should & there is no corrosion, rust, flaking paint or anything. The only marks are a couple on the usual points of the panniers. Underneath is just as good.
2 original keys (with Pan European logo) & boy you wouldn't want to lose them as the key works 9 locks on the bike (if you include the panniers!) Tool kit under the seat. The old boy who owned it from new I have been given his telephone number but haven't phoned him yet. He swears he has all the original paperwork when bought new & service book etc. etc. but moved house recently and hasn't found it yet.
The private number plate is not included in the sale as it has been valued at quite a lot. I am willing to leave it on for £250 if it helps.
So there it is a superb collectable HONDA - "PANS" just don't come up with this mileage, 1 owner & stunning condition.
Awful lot of globe trotting bike for very little money.
