This is a last year of production with OHLINS rear shock & for my money best livery with a low genuine mileage of 20,700 and in overall excellent condition.
It was a Dealer parallel import from new as back then the dealers couldn't get enough and this is shown on V5.
I am please to say it has original exhaust, rare solo seat cowl & virtually every MOT from new with some service history, 2 keys, original tool kit & last mature owner for 8 years.
Whilst not concours, it is mostly original & very very good. The minor points to mention are some hairline cracks around fasteners on front fairing & a couple of small marks on left fairing (not from being dropped just very small marks). BUT overall an extremely tidy example that runs & stops beautifully. I have done a walk around & start up video on YouTube just search "Yamaha YZF750" & it will come up - I think 3rd one down.
These are starting to rise in price quickly as a very usable classic that is both fast & practical.
The last owner bought it in his 50's and has blatantly cherished it for weekend rides only (he didn't take his test until 50!) & now in his 60's decided to stop riding. MOT until Sep 2021 so ready to ride & enjoy when weather is decent.
So with low mileage & great condition & mostly original this is a great bike for someone.

Purple Helmet Motorbikes
FOR SALE £5,995 (NOW SOLD) Triumph Street Twin Café Racer that has had a superb "Blacked Out" job
2nd time of owning this as I had to have it back again. My personal favourite bike that has been done beautifully. So many tasteful extras, low mileage & pristine example - the TEC mufflers are to die for & I rode it last summer & again today - just the BEST example & so docile to ride. I also love the HEIDENAU knobblies they handle a treat!
FOR SALE £4,995 1986 Honda XLV750R having had 2 year restoration by Honda Specialist in Italy
Walk around & quick start up of this beautiful old XLV (now 35 years!!!) having been restored in Italy from the ground up including work done to the engine I believe & then imported to UK in 2019 & done 700 miles since. Cracking bike that was a bit of an Enigma in its day but the pre-cursor to the now fabled Africa Twin & Transalp. Lovely looking livery & a great piece of historic nostalgia. 1990 Yamaha FZR1000 Genesis EXUP before resto!
(For the eagle eyed - yes I put 1989 in video when in fact it is a 1990 bike - sorry!) Bike I loved in my 20's so bought this one, very complete mostly standard BUT in need of some TLC. Mechanically 100% and when we rebuilt carbs started on the button & turbine smooth. But filthy is an understatement! It was a UK bike that owner took to Spain then used until retiring & bringing back home ... don't think he ever cleaned it but used it for what it was designed for! No issues with that LOL! So she/he's going through a long slow resto. Having just had all panels properly sorted I can't wait & hopefully get finished for this summer ... ride... enjoy & post new video!
