IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GUTSY ANOLOGUE SPORTS BIKE THAT'S A BIT SPECIAL & VERY RARE FOR SUB 5K - LOOK NO FURTHER! FOR MY MONEY THE BEST LIVERY EVER. BAR NONE, FOR A 929 "BLADE", ESPECIALLY WITH THE BLACK FRAME & SWINGING ARM DELICIOUS LOOKING BIKE & IT'S A HONDA! For the uninitiated, ERION RACING IS A HIGHLY REGARDED AMERICAN RACE TEAM WITH A WHOPPING 14 AMA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS UNDER ITS BELT, and these limited 929 Blades were only made for the USA market & I believe only 1,000 were made, however a few UK dealers managed to get some crated over & therefore were a UK registered bike from new ... and yes this is one of them (proof is the paint code decal under the seat that says CBR900RE for Erion instead of RR, see photo) & so very very rare, especially in this condition with this mileage and having had over £900 recommisioning spent in April. I rode it home and have spent the last week refitting nearly all of the original parts that came with the bike - with the exception of levers (because I actually like the black ones), brake reservoir lid & number plate light (because it is ugly!) but you can refit if you so desire as I still have them plus parts I took off. The only non standard part is the exhaust but it is a high quality (notable as no rivots holding it together which is a nice touch) "Renegade" period one that was fitted virtually from new (2003) with dyno print out on file. I have then detailed the bike to a high level & mopped all the original lovely paint scheme that really is in excellent preserved condition with no scrapes, cracks etc. There is one decal on the LH rear fairing which does cover a scratch but that really is it! Now the provenance ... total of 3 owners from new & I have put all the paperwork in a thick file (watch video to see) and it is great to have all books, service book stamped up, original owners manual still in its protective little plastic case under the flip pillion seat, every old MOT backing up mileage, a wad of old invoices including the ORIGINAL PURCHASE ORDER, a load of old tax discs & even the whimsical USA booklet on "Riding Tips" 😃 This adds so much value to the bike The bike is "META" alarmed and fully working and has instruction book included in the paperwork, original tool kit BUT only 1 key I'm sorry. FULLY CLEAR HPI REPORT. Don't know what else to add - I nearly kept it for myself as just a great all round bike that's rapid, gorgeous to look at (and sound), won't depreciate, will get loads of attention at bike meets, easy and fun to ride and all for, in my opinion, little money when looking at new sports bikes with rediculous BHP that you can't readily use on our roads anyway (and depreciate like a stone). This bike is pure nostalgic unadulterated fun ... oh and it's FUEL INJECTION so no worries about carbs gumming up either! WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE & JUST TRY FINDING ANOTHER? (Especially as good as this)
