NOVEMBER 2003 ('53) APRILIA RSV1000 RLink to high res images: https://photos.app.goo.gl/VECsiVWLCB4MMDL3A
PROPERLY DRY STORED FROM 2012 (when MOT ran out) to 2020 & OWNED SINCE 2008BY A MATURE "NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of HEAD TEACHERS" BIKER WHO HAD TO SELLDUE TO ILL HEALTH & I BOUGHT OFF A REPUTABLE DEALERThe bike can only be described as wonderful original condition. It has the lovely black "Aprilia Racing"end cans & for money is in the best livery...an almost fluorescent red with contrasting silver set offby that beautiful factory finish part polished frame & very dark metallic graphite grey wheelsIt comes, being an Aprilia with Brembo brakes & Ohlins steering damper.NOW FOR THE UNINITIATED THESE 2nd GEN RSV's IN THEIR 1ST YEAR (This is one of the very 1st)HAVE AN IRRITATING FLAW...IF THE BATTERY RUNS COMPLETELY FLAT OR IS DISCONNECTEDTHEN THE SPEEDO RESETS TO ZEROAs I have the stamped service book & invoices I can see that the history is as follows:23.04.04 1st Service @ 830 Miles by Supplying Dealer "Kickstart Motorcycles" of Port Talbot06.04.06 2nd Service @ 6904 Miles by "Souther Cross" incl. recalls & updated MAP17.05.07 Further Service "GILDO'S" didn't put mileage down25.07.09 Further Service "MAXMOTO" of Bury St Edmunds now owned by last owner& the invoice comes to £481.42 NOW this one shows apart from service "diagnoseelectrical faults" & battery at which point speedo was reset to zero. Mr Gloverthe last owner then did a total of 519 miles before storing it away in 2012 andtherefore after my ride out/shake out today the total mileage reads 550(may go up if weather is good again as I love to ride these!)Looking at stone chips, lots of experience detailing bikes & the general lack ofuse I would say the mileage is probably around 11,000 miles all in - my be lessbut that's a good honest educated calculation... PLEASE BARE IN MIND IT IS 17 YEARS OLD
