THIS BIKE IS A PIECE OF HONDA BEAUTIFULLY ENGINEERED V4 HISTORY! NOT JUST A VF1000 BUT THE "R" EDITION & THEN 1 of only 530 WORLDWIDE IN THE INSTANTLY RECOGNISABLE ROTHMANS LIVERY WHICH IS TO DIE FOR. Originally a Swiss bike with 1 very careful owner up until imported to the UK in 2023 by a specialist importer. The service book is a dream (see photos) showing a perfect PROPER Honda dealership service record with 11 of the stamps by the same dealer A properly serviced Honda will go for ever as we all know (even highly tuned Fireblades get past 100,000 miles) & this shows with this bike - the engine is whisper quiet with no strange noises or smoke from cold & starts on the button & runs beautifully & is an absolute credit to Honda engineering & it's 1 careful owner. It has now done 91,560 km's (56,892 miles) & please please don't let this put you off. What a cracking example of the already quite rare 1100 Zephyr having recently had a proper full recommission to the tune of £1,073 then detailed by me so ready to be ridden & enjoyed and I'll put a fresh MOT on as well. I rode it to take the photos & it was a delight to ride, everything works perfectly, drops into top gear at 30 mph then just wafts along effortlessly. For the vertically challenged they have a low ride seat height too! I doubt you will find a more completely original & untouched super low mileage example that has just had everything done for you & finished in the gorgeous "Pearl Purplish Black" (looks black until the sunlight hits it) & with so many XJR 1300's, CB1300's & GSX1400's readily available it is a bit more unique too. THE INVOICE IN FILE SHOWS WHAT WAS DONE TO INCLUDE: NEW TYRES OIL & FILTER GENUINE FORK SEALS & FORK OIL GENUINE INLET RUBBERS CARB SEAL KITS (Obviously cleaned & balanced) SPARK PLUGS FRONT BRAKE PADS BATTERY AND THEY DID VALVE CHECK AS WELL The bike comes with 2 original keys that work all the locks, original tool kit, lots of old MOT's, some service history & obviously V5 showing 2 previous owners. It was imported (well they all are really!) in 2003 when 8 years old & has been extremely well looked after as showing by the photos & video. Whilst not concours standard with having all original paint it is in amazing overall condition. I have not polished the engine casings or forks or wheels and left original as that is part of its "patina" & easily done by the new custodian if they want to improve it even more (got to have something to do!) Here's a bit of a UNICORN ... 1 owner, 100% original 996, UK example with just 1, 920 miles from new! I have all books, keys, original dealer wallet & some old MOT's, unused tool kit, & I'm two thirds through detailing it carefully. I bought this off a very affluent owner and it was tucked away in his barn with various other collectible motorbikes & cars & it is in my trade name so still a 1 owner example. All original paintwork, exhausts etc. & completely unmolested example. Couple of very very minor marks from over the years but as the saying goes ... "they are only original once" No cracks or deep scratches or anything untoward, of that I absolutely guarantee. The minor "ticks" are a scratch on the clutch basket cover (v easily sorted), misted headlights (just need removing & cleaning internally), and the headstock has marks in the lacquer ... again v simple fix. Other than that the absolute tiniest of chips/marks not even visible in the photos. Mino spidering on the frame & wheels due to age again hardly visible in photos. I am being uber picky here! Has had 4 sets of belts over the years & the owner informed me last done in 2021 (although no receipts). This absolutely premium grade Ducati is offered in showroom condition with great upgrades of very useful Ducati heated grips & "dark" mirrors. It's a 1 owner example, has just 1,150 miles in just over 2 years with 3 Ducati stamps in the service book & the last one only being 213 miles ago! Presented in the lovely livery of matt silver against gloss metallic black with a yellow pinstripe & being the "Pro" comes with all the goodies, the best one without doubt being the very stylish "Stacked Shotgun" shorty twin exhausts (must have) & all black frame, engine casings/covers. A very handsome machine for such reasonable money that's virtually new. Actually goes like stink if needed as I rode it home 90 miles & found out!! ABS, lean sensitive traction control, variable set ups with "city, journey & active".
